The Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs is the public award for new construction in Amsterdam. The prize is awarded annually to a new construction project completed in Amsterdam in the previous year. A public jury selects ten finalists from all completed projects. Everyone can then cast their vote for one of those projects via this site. As Amsterdam Woont, we organize the Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs together with the municipality, broadcaster AT5 and Bouwend Nederland. The winner of the Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs 2025 is new construction project Amstelkwartier lot 8A.
Winnaar is veelzijdig project met middenhuur woningen
Amstelkwartier lot 8A consists of 55 large apartments and townhouses in the middle rent, aimed at different target groups: from starters to families. Half of the homes are rented to people in healthcare, education and police. The project also includes a daycare center with a roof garden playground. The entrance at the tip of the building jumps in a bit, so that the upper floors overhang. On the roof of the sunken parking garage is a triangular courtyard garden for residents.
Dé publieksprijs voor nieuwbouw in Amsterdam
Amsterdamwoont.nl organized this year for the 18th time the Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs, the public award for new construction in the city. Together with AT5, the municipality of Amsterdam and Bouwend Nederland, Amsterdammers could choose their favorite new construction project of the past year. Almost 4,900 people voted.
