Collected data
You can visit the Amsterdam Woont website www.amsterdamwoont.nl, visit anonymously. Amsterdam Woont facilitates the presentation of the housing offer of its members (project developers, real estate agents, and investors offering new construction) to consumers. Amsterdam Woont uses the OSRE database for this purpose, in which project data and data of interested parties are registered. The housing providers can access and consult the data of interested parties themselves.
If you wish to obtain information, sign up for a newsletter, or participate in a survey, Amsterdam Woont may ask you to provide your gender, initials, prefix, last name, email address, phone number, postal code, house number (including any addition), street, city, and country. In addition to entering this information, we ask you to agree to this privacy statement. If you do not agree, we cannot fulfill the 4 points below. If you show interest in a property, you may also be asked about your preferred property type. Your data will be used for the following purposes:
- Express your interest to the housing provider.
- Your gender is used for the salutation in correspondence between you and the provider.
- Your initial, middle name, and last name are used to track your interests.
- Your phone number and email address are for initial contact between the property provider and for sending project-related news and for sending a newsletter or match email when there is an offer that fits your profile.
Your data is also used indirectly for:
- the provision and administrative processing of Amsterdam Woont's services to the housing provider and/or;
- obtaining a better understanding of the target audiences of Amsterdam Woont and/or;
- the adaptation (or development) of Amsterdam Woont's services and website(s) to (or for the benefit of) your personal preferences and/or;
- providing data to third parties based on legal obligations;
- providing email addresses to third parties like Facebook to display personalized ads. The email addresses are converted into anonymized code.

Traffic data on the websites is stored for 48 hours and then, in principle, destroyed. When you unsubscribe from a newsletter, your email address will be removed from the mailing list of the relevant platform.
