New construction project Emerald won the Amsterdam New Construction Prize 2017. The project, mainly consisting of single-family homes in Amsterdam Southeast, received 20.9 percent of the votes. Alderman Laurens Ivens (Construction and Housing) presented the award on Wednesday, November 1st, to the residents and the parties involved. This took place on location, right in the middle of the housing project itself.
