This concerns nineteen homes marketed under the name Superlofts. The project was developed by MKA, within which residents can assemble their own dream loft within a fixed spatial and financial framework. The Superloft concept thus meets the wishes of buyers with a unique lifestyle looking for custom-made homes or shell DIY houses.
The Superlofts communities are organized into cooperatives that bring future residents together, even before the building and their homes are designed. The potential for bottom-up initiatives thus creates active buyer participation and ultimately results in close-knit social networks. From the very beginning, Superlofts participants influence the design and elaboration of the building, ensuring that supply and demand seamlessly align. Because the building structure is so flexible, additional facilities can easily be incorporated into the design at minimal cost. For example, there are common areas, a rooftop extension, heat pumps and solar panels, electric charging stations, etc. There are lofts with a shell floor area from 42 m2 to 99 m2 and a height of 5.45 m.
