The apartments in EASE have a spacious living room with an open kitchen and, in most cases, two bedrooms, although there are also one- and two-room apartments. Delivery includes a complete bathroom (with a shower). For the kitchen, a voucher of 5,130 euros (including VAT) is available to be spent exclusively at Eigenhuis Keukens. For that amount, a kitchen has been designed that completely suits your apartment. For an additional charge, you can also choose an alternative. The kitchen will be installed after delivery. Good to know: the building is equipped with an elevator.
Each apartment has its own outdoor space (balcony or loggia), accessible from the living room. For even more outdoor space, there’s a communal rooftop garden on the fifth floor. There’s also a nature playground on the ground-floor parking deck.
Speaking of parking: EASE will have a shared bicycle storage facility for bikes and scooters, a separate storage facility for cargo bikes, and an underground parking garage for cars. Car-sharing options will be available there and you can buy your own parking space, although the number of spots is limited. Street parking is not possible. The municipality does not issue parking permits here.
The EASE homes are energy-efficient. Partly thanks to excellent insulation, solar panels on the roofs, heat recovery, and underfloor heating, they have an energy label of A++/A+++. This ensures greater comfort and—with normal consumption—lower energy costs. The prices of the apartments are approximately 349,000 euros (free on name / property transfer costs included), excluding ground rent. Construction is expected to begin in mid-September (2026).
EASE is being built on Elsrijkdreef in the new residential neighborhood of Barrio Lobi, in the E-neighborhood East in Amsterdam Southeast. That is on the border with the Holland Park district in Diemen. Barrio Lobi will feature owner-occupied and rental homes for people in various stages of life. Think of starters. Or young families looking for more space. Or older adults who want to live comfortably on a single level with the convenience of an elevator. EASE also contributes to this variety. In phase 2, which is expected to go on sale mid-this year, there will be 53 owner-occupied family homes (terraced houses and semi-detached houses).
Are you interested in an apartment in EASE? Then register via the project siteDon't wait too long; the registration period closes on Wednesday, March 18 at 12:00 PM. The allocation will take place after that. Would you like priority in that allocation? Then have your bank perform a (free) financial check. This proves that you can finance the property or properties you have in mind. You upload this statement during the registration process. Good to know: a primary residence obligation applies to the homes in EASE. This creates a stronger bond between the residents and the neighborhood, and with each other. Buying and renting out immediately is possible, but only to first-degree family members, such as your son or daughter.
