Nelson Smile will be a building with different heights, which adds to the playful look. It has 110 apartment units: two-, three- and four-room apartments as well as special units. These are apartments with something special, such as a magnificent roof terrace or a separate layout. All apartments have their own balcony or terrace and are delivered with a beautiful bathroom. For a large part of the units, you have your own parking space in a nearby garage, which is currently under construction. This parking space is included in the purchase price.
A large portion of the apartments in the first two phases of Nelson Smile have now been sold. However, there are still available apartments. These are three- and four-room apartments and a special offer. The prices mentioned are based on an annual indexation. A brief overview:
Several other (and similar) apartments are available. Plus a two-room apartment of approximately 54 square meters, with a purchase price of 345,000 euros (VAT included). These properties may become available again.
The energy performance of the apartments in Nelson Smile is excellent. This is due (among other things) to the good insulation, solar panels and thermal energy storage (WKO). This allows you to heat your apartment in the winter and cool it in the summer. So you are always comfortable, while your energy bill (with normal consumption) is relatively low. Also very sustainable: greenery on the roofs and a system for water storage.

Do you want to explore the surroundings first before signing up? Come on Wednesday 11 June between 15:00 and 18:00 for the festive ground-breaking ceremony. Since one of the homes in Nelson Smile is the 10,000th new-build home in Southeast since 2018, extra preparations are being made. A large tent with snacks, drinks and performances by local artists will be set up on Anton de Komplein (next to the construction site).
To avoid disappointment, it is wise to have a financial check performed before you sign up. That way you know for sure that you can finance the apartment you have your eye on. You can request such a check for free from your bank or (independent) mortgage advisor.
Nelson Smile's location is ideal: at Nelson Mandela Park, where you can walk, exercise and enjoy the sun and the outdoors. Furthermore, there are often events. Like the vibrant Kwaku Summer Festival. Also close to home: a swimming pool, the Bijlmer Sports Center and the lively Anton de Komplein, where a cozy, multicultural market takes place twice a week. Also within walking distance is the Amsterdamse Poort shopping center. A little further away is Arena Boulevard, with even more shopping and entertainment facilities. So your new neighborhood offers plenty of amenities so you don't really have to leave your neighborhood.
Do you want to go a little further afield? Then you have all kinds of possibilities with public transportation (train, streetcar, metro and bus). And by car you'll be on the ring road in no time. How far is the city center? Less than 20 minutes by electric bike.
