Seasons The Sphinx: rental apartments for 55+ who want to live comfortably and actively

The Sphinx is the newest residential building in the new city district On the IJ in Amsterdam Noord. It has recently been completed. Some of the rental apartments are so-called Seasons apartments, specially for 55+ residents. The starting point of the Seasons living concept is that life is now and that you should enjoy it to the fullest. As active and comfortable as possible. You have a nice private space, equipped with all conveniences, entirely on one level and suitable for all life stages. Do you need company? Then head to the communal living room with a cooking studio. Or visit the communal rooftop terrace on the seventh floor.

Doing things together, easy to arrange care at home

A community manager organizes all sorts of activities for you and your fellow residents. You can participate in these, but you don't have to. This community manager is also available if you need help. And if you need home care, you can easily arrange that.

Two more rental apartments for 55+ available, ready for immediate occupancy

There are two remaining Seasons rental apartments available for the 55+ age group. These apartments are equipped with a luxury Siematic kitchen, a Villeroy & Boch bathroom and toilet, underfloor heating and cooling, a sleek PVC floor, and beautifully finished (wallpaper-ready) walls. The apartments are available for immediate occupancy. The following units are available:

  • Apartment Batteryparkstraat 7 (first floor): two rooms, 58 square meters of living space, south-facing balcony. The rent is 1,510 euros per month.
  • Apartment Batteryparkstraat 59 (fourth floor): two rooms, 73 square meters of living space, balcony facing east and overlooking the courtyard. The rent is 1,795 euros per month.

Seasons The Sphinx: living near cultural hotspots in Amsterdam

The Sphinx is located in the new Aan het IJ city district, part of the area Overlookin Amsterdam Noord. On one side is a new park, and on the other side a green square, which also borders two other buildings and a school. One of the great things about this new neighborhood is its proximity to major cultural and culinary hotspots: EYE Filmmuseum, the A'DAM Tower, the Tolhuistuin, NXT Museum, Street Art Museum, and NDSM, with its restaurants, festivals, and events (like the flea market). Amsterdam's city center is also easily accessible; a short walk leads to the ferry that departs for Central Station.
