The Houthaven is located between the Spaarndammerbuurt and the IJ in Amsterdam West. On this site, where cargo ships from all over Europe used to unload their timber, a vibrant and climate-neutral waterfront district is rising. The Houthaven will eventually have about 2,700 homes, all newly built. A large part of these have already been completed and are inhabited.
