A new milestone for AmsterdamConstruction of Eleven Square has begun. This dynamic urban district with an international flair is rising next to AFAS Live, opposite the Johan Cruijff Arena. Eleven Square consists of four impressive buildings. The homes are located in two of them – Eleven Home and Eleven Base. There are 933 rental apartments and 187 owner-occupied homes. Almost half of the rental apartments are studios for students. The other rental homes are apartments for first-time buyers, young professionals, empty nesters, and small families.
The 187 apartment units are available in various variants: studios and two- and three-room apartments. All of them have an outdoor space.
The new urban district is being built in one of the most accessible locations in Amsterdam: right next to AFAS Live, opposite the Johan Cruijff Arena and within walking distance of the Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station. The project includes much more than just housing. Around a central square, shops, restaurants, sports facilities, offices, a theater and a hotel are being built. This creates a dynamic urban area where you can live, work, go out and relax in other ways. To experience the city, you don’t need to leave the neighborhood.
Construction of the new urban district has recently begun. The ceremonial kick-off was given by (among others) Housing Minister Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan. The first homes are expected to be completed in 2029. Sign up on the Eleven Square website and be the first to hear when the sale starts.
