The Forest is coming to the Naritaweg, on the street of the CBR, close to Sloterdijk Station. The project consists of four buildings with 313 owner-occupied and rental apartments. The 122 owner-occupied apartments are located in the Oak and Cherry buildings. These apartments have their balconies and verandas facing south and west. A selection of the accommodation offer:

Both buildings feature three-room apartments with living areas ranging from approximately 48 to 81 square meters. The floor plans vary by unit. They all feature an efficient layout, with a living room that opens onto the kitchen and two separate bedrooms. All apartments have their own outdoor space facing west or south.
The floor plan is of one of the three-room property types. The floor plans of the other property types can be found on the project website.
If you are looking for more space, for example because you have a family or work from home a lot, you can also opt for a four-room apartment. Building Cherry has several types. The living areas range from approximately 74 to 97 square meters. These corner apartments all feature a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen and three bedrooms. The living room provides access to the balcony via a sliding door. That balcony faces south, so you can enjoy the sun there for a long time.
The floor plan is for one of the four-bedroom home types rooms. The floor plans of the other housing types can be found on the project website.
Sustainability is at the heart of The Forest. This is evident in the green living environment and the energy-efficient apartments. Smart features, such as green roofs and wadis, collect rainwater and retain it for longer. This reduces heat stress and minimizes flooding. At the same time, this creates a pleasant, green living environment. The apartments are also designed with the future in mind. They are exceptionally well-insulated and are heated and cooled via a sustainable thermal energy storage system (WKO). This allows you to enjoy a comfortable and healthy indoor climate all year round. Not only does this make for a pleasant living environment, but it also helps reduce energy consumption.
The Forest is rising in Sloterdijk Stationskwartier (formerly Sloterdijk Centrum). This former office area is increasingly developing into a vibrant, green city district where living, working, and relaxing come together. Green avenues, small parks between the residences, and a greened public space create a pleasant living environment. For instance, Orlyplein has already been designed as a park, and Arlandaweg will soon form a green connection between Westerpark and Spieringhorn sports park, complete with a direct cycling route. Streets, squares, facades, and roofs are also becoming greener. This contributes to the atmosphere, the fight against heat stress, and the richness of plant and animal life.
Sloterdijk Stationskwartier isn’t just becoming greener. This part of Amsterdam is also gaining more and more amenities. Just a five-minute walk from The Forest, the city is building a new school and a visitor parking garage. Other amenities are also being added, such as supermarkets and places for sports and recreation. This will make the neighborhood even more attractive to residents and visitors. At the same time, the city is right nearby. You’ll live just a five-minute walk from Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, with bus, tram, and train connections to all parts of the city. The A10 and A15 highways are also just around the corner. From your home, you can easily drive to the Zuidas, Schiphol, Haarlem, or Utrecht.
