No worries about maintenance or mortgage interest, plenty of living comfort and a lower energy bill. You combine the conveniences of renting and new construction in Crossroads, a new residential building in Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station QuarterThere are currently 120 private sector apartments for rent, with rental prices ranging from 1,158 to 2,053 euros per month (excluding service charges). At the beginning of 2025, another 119 mid-rent apartments will be added.
Crossroads, which is currently under heavy construction, is a 27-story residential tower with 239 rental apartments. The variety is great. At Crossroads, you will find studios, mostly two- and three-room apartments, as well as a number of four-room apartments. The living areas range from 34.5 to over 106 square meters. Whatever you choose, you always have your own enclosed outdoor space, allowing you to enjoy the sun and fresh air while still having plenty of privacy. All apartments will be delivered with a beautiful kitchen including built-in appliances and a nice bathroom. The apartments are expected to be completed by mid-2025. That is just over half a year from now.
The apartments at Crossroads are both comfortable and energy-efficient. This is thanks in part to the excellent insulation, underfloor heating, and heat recovery system. Another convenience: the ground floor of Crossroads has space for a supermarket, so your groceries are literally just around the corner.
The building is rising next to Sloterdijk station. Here, you step right next door onto the bus, tram, metro, or train. This way, you can travel to the center of Amsterdam in just five minutes. With so much public transport close at hand, you do not need a car here. Therefore, Crossroads has no parking spaces. Anyone who does have a car must arrange a spot elsewhere in the area. However, there is a communal bicycle storage facility in the building.
Sloterdijk Stationskwartier – formerly Sloterdijk Centrum – is undergoing a large-scale metamorphosis from an office district into a vibrant live-work area, featuring striking new developments, often in prominent towers. At ninety meters, Crossroads will be a fine addition to the skyline of this part of Amsterdam. Striking feature: the merging of new construction and greenery. Like other buildings in the area, Crossroads will be nature-inclusive. The building will feature several communal gardens, and plenty of greenery will soon grow on the facades as well. With new construction projects like Crossroads, nature is increasingly finding a place in the city.
