Crossroads is a 27-story residential tower featuring 239 rental apartments, partly private sector and partly mid-market rental. The private sector apartments went up for rent in December. The mid-market rental homes followed on Friday, February 14. As mentioned, these consist of 119 two- and three-room apartments. The living areas range from approximately 64 to about 68 square meters. Rental prices start at 1,078 euros per month (excluding service costs). Each apartment has its own outdoor space. This is recessed, allowing you to enjoy the sun and fresh air while still having plenty of privacy. The homes will be delivered with a beautiful kitchen featuring built-in appliances and an attractive bathroom. This delivery is expected in June or July of this year. So you can move in here quite soon!
The apartments in Crossroads are energy-efficient. This is thanks in part to the excellent insulation, underfloor heating, and heat recovery system. This provides a high level of living comfort and (with normal consumption) a lower energy bill.
The building rises next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. This means you can step right next door onto the bus, tram, metro, or train. This way, you can travel to the center of Amsterdam in just five minutes. With so much public transport close at hand, you do not need a car here. Crossroads therefore has no parking spaces. Anyone who does have a car must arrange a spot elsewhere in the area. However, there is a collective bicycle storage facility in the building. In addition to the proximity of the station, there is something else that offers you a lot of convenience: the supermarket on the ground floor of Crossroads. Soon you will be getting your groceries literally around the corner.
Sloterdijk Stationskwartier – formerly Sloterdijk Centrum – is undergoing a large-scale metamorphosis from an office district into a vibrant live-work area, featuring striking new developments, often in prominent towers. At ninety meters, Crossroads will be a fine addition to the skyline of this part of Amsterdam. Striking feature: the merging of new construction and greenery. Like other buildings in the area, Crossroads will be nature-inclusive. The building will feature several communal gardens, and plenty of greenery will soon grow on the facades as well. Of the private sector rental apartments that went on the market in December, a few are still available. These are two- and three-room apartments with living areas ranging from approximately 50.4 to about 106.7 square meters. Specifically for the mid-rent properties, there is also a maximum to what you may earn gross annually. If you exceed that amount, you are not eligible for mid-rent.
