Then the new construction project De IJ-Loods in the new city district NDSM Something for you. The IJ-Loods consists of several buildings, with a total of 348 owner-occupied and rental homes. It mainly concerns apartments, but there will also be unique family homes with a garden. The first 24 owner-occupied apartments and one exclusive penthouse will go on sale on Thursday, May 21. The prices: from 512,500 euros (including costs), based on an annual leasehold rent.
The first apartments to go on sale are located in residential tower MAST. This stately building rises on Ms. Oslofjordweg and will be the tallest building in De IJ-Loods. Because most of the residences are on the west side of the tower, you can watch the sunset in the evenings. You can do this from your balcony, but also from your living room. The floor-to-ceiling windows guarantee maximum views.
MAST consists of 86 owner-occupied apartments. The 25 apartments (including a penthouse) that go on sale on Thursday, May 21, form the first phase. In De IJ-Loods, you live sustainably, energy-efficiently, and nature-inclusively. You heat and cool your apartment via thermal energy storage (TES). Solar panels generate electricity. And rainwater is collected and retained to combat heat stress on warm days. There will also be roof gardens, inner courtyards, and communal greenhouses, where the retained rainwater can go. All of this ensures a pleasant living environment, also for plants and animals. And it makes the city more resilient to climate change.
The purchase prices for the two-bedroom apartments in the MAST building start at 512,500 euros (including costs). For the three-bedroom apartments, prices start from 660,000 euros (including costs). These prices are based on an annual ground rent. You can also buy out this ground rent (until July 2076). Your apartment includes a number of parking spaces in one of the two bicycle storage rooms. For a fee, you can also get a parking space for your car in the underground garage. This can be reached via the MAST elevator.
The IJ-Loods will be more than just a pleasant place to live. It will also include small-scale commercial spaces and community facilities, such as a daycare center and a healthcare center. This will bring extra life to and around the buildings. The inner courtyards and other shared spaces, where you can meet your neighbors, will also contribute to this.
The NDSM shipyard was once one of the largest shipyards in the world. Now it's a beloved waterfront urban hotspot in Amsterdam NorthIt is a place with creative companies, festivals, attractive hospitality businesses, and an increasing number of homes. Of course, you will also find shops for daily groceries 'on' the NDSM Wharf. The district is very central: a short ferry ride takes you to the city center. You can find peace and quiet on the banks of the IJ or in the nature reserve 't Twiske. That is within cycling distance.
Are you interested in an apartment in the MAST building in De IJ-Loods? Then come to the sales launch event on Thursday, May 21st, at restaurant Van de Werf, located at NDSM-Kade 2 in Amsterdam. Between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, you'll receive information about the project and the homes and can speak with the sales team. You can also explore the neighborhood. As soon as the event starts, you can register via the project site register for the home of your choice. Good to know: you don't need to register for the sales launch event. So you can just walk in.
