Lots for construction groups at Oostenburg, in Amsterdam Center, soon on sale

Do you want to build your dream home with others in Amsterdam Centrum? Then take your chance at Oostenburg. The first lots for CPO building groups will soon be sold there. Interested? Request the brochure and the lot presentation via www.oostenburg.nl/zelfbouw .

Self-construction at Oostenburg: large and smaller lots. No lease

A total of five self-build plots for building groups will be available at Oostenburg. These vary in size and are suitable for projects of approximately three to sixteen houses. Lot F (ten to sixteen houses) and lot G (three to eight houses) will soon be the first to be sold. The plots are located between the INIT building, in which the editorial offices of Het Parool and De Volkskrant are located, and the Conradstraat. It is about private land. So you do not pay a ground rent here.

Loting, quality test and a lot of freedom

The selection and sales procedure is done through a draw (and not via a bidding process). In addition, the quality of the plans will be tested. Freedom is great. You build according to your own design (but according to a joint approach and rules), a garden and / or roof terrace is possible and you can combine living with work, more to combine living with work. Only CPO building groups can register for the lots. The preliminary planning is that the lots will be delivered from mid 2020.

Oostenburg: new city district in Amsterdam with a historic core

Oostenburg is one of the three historic islands in the center of Amsterdam. The place is already very popular with Amsterdammers, thanks to popular restaurants such as Rosa & Rita and Roest. In the coming years, the island will be redeveloped into a tough city district with some 1,500 homes, various catering establishments and businesses. The housing supply will consist of owner-occupied housing, rental housing (social, medium and free sector) and thus self-build housing. What is special is that the historical core is preserved, in the form of the nineteenth-century Van Gendthallen, the monumental Werkspoorhal, the old quay walls and the iconic blue crane stands.
