Amstelkwartier: 3,300 homes
The development of Amstelkwartier has been underway for some time. Some of the 3,300 homes have already been completed and occupied. This gives the district more and more face. But there is still a lot of new construction to come. The intention is that the new city district will be ready around 2030.
Park, water tower and location on the Amstel River
Amstelkwartier will soon consist not only of new housing. The district has more to offer, such as the Bella Vista Park with its historic water tower, and the monumental buildings of the former Zuidergasfabriek. And then, of course, there is the location on the Amstel River, where a wide green strip with trees offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sun and the view by the water.
