It has already been mentioned: Dok District is emerging in Almere Haven. This district borders the Gooimeer and is known for its marina, its swimming beach and its surfing beach. But also because of the surrounding parks and nature. Such as the Early Bird Forest, the Kromsloot Park, the Vlieger Park and the Waterland Forest.

But you also have all kinds of daily amenities nearby. Like shops, schools and public transport. Within four minutes by bike you find a supermarket and a primary school, and within seven minutes you’re at the Promenade shopping center. You’ll also find many more shops, as well as plenty of restaurants and a theater in the center of Almere. That’s just over a quarter of an hour by bike. And via the A6 and A27 you can travel to Amsterdam, Utrecht or Lelystad in no time.
