Quiet, sustainable and nature-inclusive living in a wooded area, near Haarlem and not far from Amsterdam. It is possible on the Wickevoort estate near the dike village of Cruquius. New housing is now on sale there. This is phase 1 of Woonveld Bos, with terraced houses, semi-detached and detached houses, as well as bungalows that are suitable for life-long living. A special feature: the gardens will be completely landscaped with trees, shrubs, grass and paving. And in the first three years, the planting will be maintained. Come to the Meet & Greet on Saturday, October 7.
The row houses ("Boshuizen") in Woonveld Bos, of which ten will be built in the first phase, have living areas of 87 square meters. They are compact, two-story homes for single households, starting families or couples. The living room and kitchen on the first floor are connected to the garden through French doors. Upstairs you have two bedrooms and the bathroom. The Boshuizens have a private terrace. The rest of the outdoor space is a shared garden, which is fully landscaped and whose planting is maintained in the first three years. That garden is about 840 square meters. Purchase prices start at 457,750 euros (v.o.n.).
In addition to the row houses, there are also semi-detached and detached houses. The semi-detached houses, of which ten will be built in the first phase, come in two varieties: semi-detached Bos Villas (about 180 square meters and six rooms) and semi-detached large Bos Villas (about 202 square meters and seven rooms). The detached Forest Villas are 208 square meters and also have seven rooms. There will be one of this housing type in this phase.
The layout is similar. The first floor consists of a spacious living room with an open kitchen and French doors to the garden. On the second floor there are three bedrooms (including a master bedroom), a bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The top floor consists of a storage room and a free to furnish space (the "regular" semi-detached Bosvilla) or two (bedroom) rooms. All homes have 2 parking spaces on private land and a fine garden, which will be landscaped and maintained over the next 3 years. And there are possibilities to personalize your garden to your taste. Purchase prices start at 860,000 euros (semi-detached Forest Villas), 925,000 euros (semi-detached large Forest Villas) and 1,100,000 euros (detached Forest Villas). These prices are freehold.
Then there are the life-proof bungalows, four of which are being built in Phase 1. The bungalows are semi-detached houses of about 162 square meters with a full living program on the first floor: living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. On the second floor you also have two rooms. Ideal if people come to stay or for work or hobby. You have a private terrace and two parking spaces on your own land. And the same goes for the bungalows: your garden will be landscaped - according to your wishes - and maintained in the first 3 years. The prices: from 820,000 euros (before taxes).
All homes on Wickevoort Estate, including those in Residential Field Forest, are very energy efficient and sustainable (energy label A+++), thanks in part to excellent insulation, underfloor heating, floor cooling, solar panels on the roof and a ground or air source heat pump. The homes will also be nature-inclusive, including built-in nesting boxes for birds. Speaking of sustainability, there will be electric sharing cars, sharing tools and places on the estate to pick up or drop off mail packages. A management association with a community app also connects all residents and provides space for new initiatives.

Wickevoort estate is about 56 acres in size. That is roughly comparable to about 100 soccer fields. This unique, green residential area is located near the idyllic dike village of Cruquius, southwest of Amsterdam, within cycling distance of Heemstede, Haarlem and Hoofddorp. In Wickevoort, a lot of mature greenery is already present. This is in fact where the oldest "forest" of the Haarlemmermeer is located, a "forest belt" connecting the subareas (residential fields). Even more green: Wickevoort borders nature and recreation area De Groene Weelde and the Haarlemmermeer Golf Club. The estate will not only be home to housing. It is also the site of the Cruquiushoeve care facility. Furthermore, there are already numerous facilities, such as Hoeve Wickevoort, a children's farm, a riding school, bridle paths, walking and cycling routes, small-scale catering establishments and a local shop. In this shop organic products are sold that are grown on the estate itself.
