82 apartments in all sorts of variations, from compact to very spacious, in a super-green building with eight (!) fantastic roof gardens. This range of homes is now available for presale in the new construction project Zoë, in Lock neighborhood in Amsterdam (Zeeburgereiland). People, animals and plants will soon live and work together happily here. The online registration Start on Tuesday 17 September. There will also be a sales event that day between 16:00 and 19:00, where you can talk to the sales team about the properties. Location: Bar Baggerbeest at Rudi van Dantzigstraat 1 in Amsterdam.
The housing supply in Zoë ranges from compact studios to unique penthouses and from two-, three- and four-room apartments to maisonettes by the water. The living areas range from approximately 40 to approximately 155 square meters. The prices range from 397,500 to just over 1.5 million euros. These prices are free of charge and include the perpetual purchase option for the leasehold. Many of the homes have their own outdoor space; however, you will be particularly attracted to the eight roof gardens that give the building its green appearance. Here you can enjoy the sun and the fresh air in the greenery, and meet your neighbors.
The eight roof gardens will each have their own atmosphere. A green route connects the different gardens and invites movement. At the same time, benches and picnic tables offer the opportunity to relax, eat something, or have a chat. Even more greenery: Zoë is located by the water and connects with it via a vault overgrown with ivy. This way, the greenery from the quay garden is extended into the building.
Zoë is also a green and sustainable building in other areas. The homes are energy-neutral, thanks in part to excellent insulation, triple glazing, and numerous solar panels that are integrated into the facades. As a result, your energy bill is lower (at normal usage), and you can borrow a minimum of 20,000 euros to buy the home. But it is also a sustainable building in other areas. This is thanks to the chosen building materials and the ingenious water system. In addition, rainwater is collected on all roofs and stored in rain tanks. If there is more rain, a buffer tank in the basement is filled with it. In times of drought, that water can be pumped back to the roofs that need it.
In keeping with Zoë’s green character, the ground floor and part of the first floor are reserved for green entrepreneurs. They can use the communal garden room and the flex-box. Here you can find (for example) a food business with local and sustainable products on the menu, but also a concept store with only sustainable products.
What is innovative about Zoë is that there is truly room for natural development. By taking into account the various conditions (sun, shade, humidity, drought, and altitude) in the design of the roof gardens, the gardens are being further developed in a natural way. What ultimately grows here is therefore still a surprise! Nature not only has space here, but also a stem. Literally, because there is a representative of nature on the VVE board.
Zoë Amsterdam is rising in Sluisbuurt on Zeeburgereiland, within the ring road. This new, green city district is under full development. Here you will find peace and balance, with the vibrant Amsterdam liveliness just around the corner. And all this near the Amsterdam-Rijn Canal, with its robust cargo ships, the impressive Oranjesluizen (Orange Locks), and the vastness of the IJ. Cross the bridge, and you'll be at the awesome Landmarkt in Schellingwoude in no time, or amidst the meadows and water of Waterland and Durgerdam. Here you can enjoy wonderful runs, bike rides, or walks.
The sale of Zoë’s studios and apartments starts on Tuesday 17 September. You can register from that day onwards via the supply page at the project site. On the same day, between 16:00 and 19:00, you can talk to the sales team during a sales event. This event takes place at Bar Baggerbeest at 1 Rudi van Dantzigstraat in Amsterdam. There is also a beautiful (and free) magazine about the project – for inspiration – (it Zoë Zine) It's ready for you. You don't have to sign up for the event. You can just walk in.
