Bajeskwartier The Emerald – Meerluchtlaan 33

Bajeskwartier will become a green, healthy, and at the same time highly urban neighborhood in Amsterdam East, near the Amstel River, with approximately 1,350 homes. The neighborhood is rising on the site of the former Bijlmerbajes prison. There will not only be new construction in Bajeskwartier. The main building, the boiler house, the church, and the kitchen from the former prison have been preserved. These buildings will provide space for creative businesses.
