The still available housing supply in Fort71 is very diverse. It consists of two- and three-room apartments in various variants and some three-story family homes. All the homes are very comfortable and energy-efficient, with energy labels A++ or A+++. They are delivered with a complete bathroom and toilet. A brief overview:
The remaining two-room apartments are broadly available in two variants: compact and larger. The compact two-room apartments are approximately 48 or 50 square meters in size. These are cleverly designed homes without their own outdoor space. Prices start at 350,000 euros (VAT included).
If you want a balcony, choose one of the larger two-room apartments or a three-room apartment. These homes have living areas of approximately 53 to 73 square meters and (as mentioned) a private balcony, up to approximately 11 square meters. Prices range from 370,000 to 485,000 euros (VAT included).
You’ll find even more living space in the three-story single-family homes, referred to in the plan as ‘inter-housing’ units. These homes measure approximately 152 and 160 square meters. On the ground floor you’ll find a multifunctional space that can be used as a workroom, hobby room, or play area. Or for a (small) home business. The first floor forms the heart of the house, with the living room featuring an open kitchen and balcony. On the second floor you’ll find three bedrooms and the bathroom. Prices: starting at 770,000 euros (VAT included).
Part of Fort71 is an above-ground parking garage with a green roof. If you choose a family home, you will have your own parking space in that garage. That is included in the purchase price. If you choose an apartment, you can buy an additional parking space in that garage. The cost: 35,000 euros (VAT included).
Fort71 is located at the corner of Westzijde and Klokbaai. From your home, you can walk to the center of Zaandam, with numerous shops, restaurants, and the Zaantheater. You can also find several shops and eateries closer to home. The Zaandam NS station is easily accessible by bike. If you prefer to travel by car, the connection to the A7 is not far away.
It’s worth knowing: it was recently decided that construction will begin this year. You can expect to move into Fort71 as early as the second quarter of 2028.
