Ecoloft4you comprises 45 apartments, including a few penthouses. Thirty homes have already been reserved. The still available apartments have living areas ranging from approximately 54 to 143 (!) square meters and feature 2, 3, 4, or 5 rooms. These surface areas are fixed. As a member of the building group, you have no influence over that. You do, however, have a say in the layout and finishes. You determine those yourself. That is the great thing about self-building with a group; you are not just buying a home, you are also buying influence. This means you largely decide yourself what your apartment will look like. One or two extra rooms? Fine. A loft-like open space? Also good. An extra-large kitchen-diner? Consider it done. In consultation with the architect, a great deal is still possible at this time. At the same time, you collaborate with your future neighbors on the finishing and design of the communal areas. This ensures you will soon live in a place that truly suits you.
Speaking of "location." Ecoloft4you is rising at the future harbor of Centrumeiland. If you choose an apartment on that side, you will soon look out over sailboats, pleasure yachts, and the water. The price indications range from 340,200 to 979,800 euros (free on board), based on an annual ground rent. You can also buy off that ground rent in perpetuity. The purchase prices include technical installations, wallpaper-ready walls, and an above-average luxury bathroom and toilet. The kitchen is not included in the purchase price; you choose that yourself. For a number of apartments, you can purchase a parking space as well.
The initiator of the self-build group is Building4you Developments. This developer specializes in building groups based on co-commissioning (MO). The goal is to build above-average luxury homes for an average price. In this process, the future residents—the buyers—have a say and a voice throughout the entire process. They determine what their future homes will look like and participate in discussions about the layout and finishing of the common areas. That is the fun part of the work. Good to know: applying for a mortgage is therefore the same as with "ordinary" new-build homes.
