A perfect balance between natural and urban living, and between sustainable and comfortable living. That is the promise of new construction project Amstelwood, the first wooden residential tower in Amstelveen. There are still some apartments available in this project. View the accommodation offer on the project site, create an account and register for your preferred home(s).
Amstelwood is Amstelveen's newest, green calling card, raising the bar for sustainable, healthy and comfortable living yet again. The building will be made largely of wood and you will notice that. Wood creates a pleasant and healthy indoor climate and more atmosphere. It insulates well and produces much less CO2 emissions during construction than traditional building materials such as concrete. Besides being durable and comfortable, Amstelwood is also very energy efficient. You notice that in your energy bill and you can also get a higher mortgage.
Amstelwood has 72 condominiums for sale and most of them have been sold or reserved. However, some apartments are still available. These apartments have a large living room with open kitchen, two or three bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Good to know: the apartments are on private land, so you do not pay ground rent. A short overview:
With each apartment you can buy a parking space in the underlying garage. The cost is 40,000 euros (v.o.n.).
Some apartments in Amstelwood are also still under option: a two-bedroom apartment of about 44.8 square meters, four three-bedroom apartments of about 62.7 square meters and a five-bedroom apartment of about 105.3 square meters (with two bathrooms). Prices range from 382,500 to 925,000 euros (n.d.). You can also register for these apartments. You will then be on the reserve list. If the current candidate drops out, you can still qualify.
Are you interested in one of the owner-occupied apartments still available in Amstelwood? Then go to the supply page on the project site, read more about the homes, create an account and sign up. Do have a (free) financial check with your bank beforehand. You will need it when you register. It also lets you know that you can afford the home you have your eye on. Amstelwood will have both owner-occupied and rental apartments. Registration for these will start later.
Amstelwood is rising on the Ouderkerkerlaan in Amstelveen, at the junction with the Beneluxbaan. You live just 5 minutes walk from the lively city center of Amstelveen, with all its stores, restaurants and cultural facilities, such as the theater and the Cobra Museum. The Amsterdamse Bos and the vast polder landscape De Poel are not far away either. And Amsterdam? Also very close by. The Rijksmuseum is a half-hour bike ride away and the express streetcar will take you to the Zuidas in no time. You don't really need a car here, public transport is sufficient. Can't live without one? Then there are plenty of parking spaces in the garage under Amstelwood. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of this year.
