Amstelwood: sustainable, healthy and comfortable living, thanks in part to wood construction

Amstelwood is Amstelveen's newest, green calling card, raising the bar for sustainable, healthy and comfortable living yet again. The building will be made largely of wood and you will notice that. Wood creates a pleasant and healthy indoor climate and more atmosphere. It insulates well and produces much less CO2 emissions during construction than traditional building materials such as concrete. Besides being durable and comfortable, Amstelwood is also very energy efficient. You notice that in your energy bill and you can also get a higher mortgage.
