Boegbeeld rises at the Ms. Oslofjordweg 'on' NDSM in Amsterdam. From that spot on the former shipyard, you used to look up against ramp 5 and see the bow of a ship under construction. That's where the project's name comes from. Boegbeeld consists of 79 condominiums in a variety of variants. There are apartments with two, three and four rooms and town houses, which are perfect for combining living and working. Below you can read - in brief - more about the available homes.
A very special apartment that is still available is the penthouse. This is located on the fourth floor is has a roof terrace of some 40.7 (!) square meters. This is a two-bedroom apartment with a living area of about 72.4 square meters. So your outdoor space is more than half of your living space! This penthouse is located on a corner and the terrace runs along the entire facade and is therefore corner-shaped. The price: 595,000 euros (v.o.n.).
The three-room apartments still available have living areas ranging from about 56.5 to 102.5 square meters. The balconies also vary greatly in size: from about 4.5 to 14.8 square meters. Prices range from 460,000 to 740,000 euros. There is also another four-room apartment of about 91.4 square meters available, with a balcony of about 4.4 square meters. The price of this apartment: 685,000 euros (v.o.n.).
The townhouses still available are approximately 122.5 square meters in size. They have four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a terrace and a roof terrace. The balconies are about 13.4 to 15.6 square meters, the roof terraces about 18.5 square meters. The price of each townhouse is 885,000 euros (v.o.n.). If you want to combine living with working, you can buy the underlying business space with your townhouse. These are spaces of about 50 to 60 square meters, with prices starting at 200,000 euros (n.a.).
All prices are based on annual index canon. You can also buy off that canon for fifty years. The prices for the commercial spaces do not include VAT.
The apartments and townhouses are delivered with a complete bathroom and toilet with quality products from Villeroy & Boch and Grohe. The interior walls are wallpaper-ready upon completion. You choose the kitchen yourself.
You can additionally opt for a parking space in the garage below (if still available). The costs are 50,000 euros (n.d.), including ground lease buyout until May 1, 2075. For your bicycle there is a shared storage on the first floor.
The homes in Boegbeeld are energy efficient, they all have at least energy label A. This ensures lower energy bills and extra comfort. It may also give you more financial room to buy the home.
NDSM was once one of the largest shipyards in the world. Now it is a place with creative businesses, festivals, attractive restaurants and more and more housing. Of course, you'll also find stores for daily shopping "on" NDSM. Within walking distance of Boegbeeld you have, for example, an Albert Heijn supermarket and a branch of the HEMA. NDSM is also very centrally located: in the immediate vicinity lies nature reserve 't Twiske, although you can also enjoy peace and quiet closer to home: on the banks of the IJ.
On the other hand, if you are looking for more urban bustle, the ferry will take you straight to the center of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Centraal). You can also easily get to other parts of the city from NDSM by bus and metro. In fact, several bus lines stop in the neighborhood and a ten-minute bike ride away is metro stop Noorderpark.
