Are you looking for a comfortable and energy-efficient rental apartment in a sought-after location in Amsterdam? Then there is good news. Because renting has started for the new construction project The Sphinx in the new urban district Aan het IJ in Amsterdam Noord. The Sphinx has 89 private sector rental apartments, with two, three, and four rooms and living areas ranging from 57 to 99 square meters. Rental prices start at 1,600 euros per month, excluding 90 euros service costs.
The Sphinx will feature regular private-sector rental apartments and so-called Seasons rental apartments. These are homes for active seniors with common areas, an activities program, and (if necessary) care. The Seasons apartments will become available at a later date. The 89 private-sector rental apartments in question here (which are currently available for rent) will be located in the tower and in a section of the low-rise building. These apartments are not intended for a specific target group. Via the housing seeker You can view the available homes on the project website and select your favorite properties. You can then register. Please note: do not wait too long, registration closes on Monday, December 2 at 12:00 PM.
The private sector rental homes in The Sphinx are two-, three- and four-room apartments ranging from approximately 57 to about 99 square meters. The apartments come complete with a luxury Siematic kitchen, an attractive bathroom with Villeroy & Boch sanitary facilities, underfloor heating and cooling, and wallpaper-ready walls. In addition, each apartment has a terrace or balcony. The tower has six apartments per floor, with the exception of the top two levels (floors 11 and 12). These will have four apartments, one on each corner, allowing you to fully enjoy the view.
Characteristic of The Sphinx are the outdoor spaces. They recess or project outward, giving the building a unique character. There are also built-in planters, which create a wonderfully green appearance. Furthermore, there is plenty of glass, guaranteeing abundant natural light and views.
Construction of The Sphinx is well underway. The apartments are scheduled for completion in early 2025.
The Sphinx stands in the new urban district Aan het IJ, part of the Overhoeks area, in Amsterdam North. On one side is a new park, on the other a green square, which also includes two other buildings and a school. One of the great things about this new neighborhood is its proximity to major cultural and culinary hotspots: EYE Film Museum, the A'DAM Tower and the Tolhuistuin. The center of Amsterdam is also easily accessible; the ferry to Central Station departs within walking distance.
