Elzenhagen Zuid is being developed right next to the Noord metro station, making the rest of the city, including the center, easily and quickly accessible. The new neighborhood is partly surrounded by a new park and is located between the Noordhollandsch Canal and the North/South Line. It's being called the 'garden of the city.' In addition to homes, there will be various amenities, such as schools, a sports hall, a playground, and a mosque with a social-cultural center. There will also be space for hospitality businesses and companies. A new athletics track is already in place. The neighborhood is close to the vibrant Buikslotermeerplein, with the Boven 't Y shopping center.
