Hortus: living with water around you
Hortus is located on the islands of the Weerwater and is therefore rich in water. Initially, around 660 homes were planned. The expectation now is that this number will increase, possibly to over 1,000. To what extent elements from the Floriade will be incorporated into the new district remains to be seen. The intention is for the college of mayor and aldermen to present a proposal to the municipal council after the summer (2025).
