Urban Garden is a small-scale apartment building, developed by a building group through CPO (Collective Private Commissioning). The project features a mix of residences. From modest starter apartments to a mega loft, and from family homes with roof terraces to maisonettes with 5.5-meter-high ceilings.
The building's appearance and layout were determined by the residents in consultation with the architect. The residents were given a choice of several panel divisions in the facade frames. With a void, there was the option to place a frame spanning two floors. To create more flexibility, solid wooden walls could be installed, allowing for more variation in the floor plan. This also added more diversity to the facade.
When assembling the target audience, the focus was on creative individuals and self-employed entrepreneurs. Residents can work from home in the communal lobby on the ground floor. The building also has a beautiful and green communal rooftop garden, where residents can meet their neighbors or enjoy gardening.
