Blend is one of seven new residential buildings in Westerpark West, developed by Pinnacle. The buildings are located along the Haarlemmerweg, on the site where ING offices previously stood. Each residential tower has its own distinct look. Blend distinguishes itself with expressive bay windows, which provide additional living space and angled views. The building has 128 free sector rental units.

Living
There are 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments with usable areas ranging from 37 to 86 m². All apartments have a private balcony overlooking the city or the green Bretten area. There is a parking garage for residents under the building.

Architecture
Blend was designed by MVRDV in collaboration with architectural firm Elephant. Each residential tower has its own character, together they form a strong ensemble. By varying the building typologies and layout of the public space, a striking, urban neighborhood is created. Green plays an important role. In the master plan this is reflected in the variety of outdoor spaces: from front gardens and loggias to balcony gardens and roof terraces.

Sustainability
Blend is designed as a quality and sustainable building. The facade is finished with light-colored natural stone, which provides a fresh, contemporary look. There are solar panels on the roof. The homes are heated via a heat source in the ground. Underfloor heating and cooling provide a pleasant and energy efficient indoor climate.
