Change= was established to serve the group of young adults at the beginning of their housing career. After all, even if they have a job, obtaining independent urban housing that meets reasonable standards often takes far too long. The project physically embodies the ambition to provide young people with a foundation for a successful start and a prosperous future through housing. The overall appearance of the block is that of a strong unity with a clear silhouette, which aligns with the architectural style of the surrounding neighborhood, namely New Objectivity. At pedestrian level, this business-like character is softened by the use of abundant glass, color, and high-quality materials. On the ground floor, in addition to the main entrance and entrances for parking cars, scooters, and bicycles, building-related commercial facilities are located, such as a hospitality venue, a temp agency, a bicycle shop, and a beauty salon. On the first floor is the open outdoor space, behind which is a double-height lobby, a so-called "laundry bar," and a lounge area. Above these are the independent apartments, all measuring approximately 28 m², grouped in clusters of 14 to 28 units.
