Livability
The block has been carefully integrated into the development along Ridderspoorweg. Parking is accommodated at ground level beneath the block, thereby limiting parking pressure in the neighborhood.
Housing quality
The complex contains fourteen apartments of various sizes, and is characterized by its spacious, three-meter-high ceilings and deep balconies at the front and rear. The result is a series of unique apartments ranging from 37 m2 to 129 m2, and two penthouses of 192 m2 each on the top floor.
Added value for the neighborhood
In Buiksloterham, the aspiration is to create a self-sufficient neighborhood with closed material cycles, based on 'zero waste' and 'zero emission', and with a commitment to the local economy. CPO project Noord4us has integrated these ambitions into the design in its own unique way. The complex has been designed to be highly sustainable. Measures include triple glazing, rooftop PV panels, and a thermal energy storage system powered by a solar-driven heat pump.
