The 17th-century mansion in the ‘Golden Arc’ has been renovated into rental apartments for seniors who want to live with care. The 28 residential care apartments in Het Hendrickszhuys have an area between 40 and 80 m2; one-, two- and three-room apartments offer views of the canal or garden. Each one is equipped with unique features such as built-in wardrobes, ornate ceilings, a fireplace or a roof terrace. All apartments have at least a spacious living room with sleeping area and a private luxury bathroom with shower and toilet. The property has been fully adapted to the mobility and safety needs of seniors. The apartments are all equipped with a personal alarm system that allows residents to call for help 24 hours a day.
All the monumental elements have been restored and the residents have a restaurant, activity spaces and a garden of over 500 square meters at their disposal. In the garden stands the oldest coach house in the city.
