Recently, the stately family and studio homes of the new-build project Home Base went on sale in this new urban district. These involve 24 homes with living areas ranging from 125 to 178 square meters. The purchase prices start from 550,000 euros (free on board). Registration is handled via the project site.
The housing offer in Home Base includes twenty single-family homes and four unique studio homes. These are highly energy-efficient homes that will be delivered with a complete bathroom and toilet. All homes have a garden, and a number of them also have a balcony.
The family homes have living areas ranging from 125 to 149 square meters. The ground floor features a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen area. On the first floor, you have three bedrooms and the bathroom. On the second floor are the technical room and a fourth bedroom. For an additional cost, you can create a fifth bedroom on this floor. Prices start at 550,000 euros (free of transfer tax).
The four studio homes are located on the corners of the project and therefore have unique floor plans. They are also designed differently, featuring a curved facade, striking white bricks, and red accents in the masonry. The living areas range from 134 to 178 square meters. On the ground floor, you have a large workspace where you can set up an office or studio. The first floor is intended for the living room and kitchen. The top floor is laid out with two or three bedrooms. The purchase prices start from 559,500 euros (free on board / property transfer tax included).
New Brooklyn will become a green neighborhood with eventually around 1,400 homes. Many of those homes are already under construction. The architecture is clearly inspired by the "real" Brooklyn, the famous neighborhood in New York separated from Manhattan by the East River. You see many bricks in warm colors, tall homes (at least three stories), bay windows and extensions, stairs leading to front doors, and railings made of iron. Many of those architectural features are also reflected in Home Base.
If you live in New Brooklyn Bridge, you have nice shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. And just a few minutes' walk away is Cascade Park, where you can go for a walk, have a picnic, play sports, or simply enjoy the sun and the outdoors. You can also do the latter, and perhaps even better, at Almeerderstrand. It's only a few minutes by bike from your home.
