There are still a few apartments available in the first phase of the ACE new-build project on the Sloterplas in Amsterdam New WestIt concerns two- and three-room apartments ranging from 58 to 83 square meters with purchase prices starting from 390,000 euros (free of transfer tax). ACE is a comprehensive and hyper-urban project featuring several buildings with names derived from the tennis world, such as Grand Slam, Volley, Slice, and Lob. This has everything to do with the location: the Sloterplas tennis park. Tennis (and padel) will continue to be played here on numerous courts stacked on top of each other. There will be eight outdoor tennis courts with two indoor tennis courts and four padel courts underneath. This is convenient, because stacking saves space, and as a local resident, this—thanks to insulating measures—ensures you will not be disturbed by the noise from the padel and tennis courts.
The housing supply in ACE consists of apartments and maisonettes (two-level apartments), suitable for singles, couples, families, and the elderly. The delivery includes a modern kitchen, a stylish bathroom and toilet, underfloor heating and cooling, and storage for your bicycle(s). ACE will feature both owner-occupied and rental properties (including social and mid-market rentals). The rental properties will become available later; right now, it is the turn of the owner-occupied homes.
Phase 1 consists of 240 apartments and maisonettes, with living areas ranging from approximately 43 to about 129 square meters. The homes have two, three, or four rooms and an outdoor space. They are located in the Grand Slam (171 apartments) and Slice (64 apartments and 5 maisonettes) buildings. Part of the apartments has already been reserved, and another part is under option. However, there are still homes available. Their prices range from 390,000 to 640,000 euros (free of transfer tax / v.o.n.). This includes bought-off ground lease until 2063. Thanks to the high energy label, you will save considerably on your energy costs. Moreover, this allows you to borrow extra money for a home in ACE. You can still register for the apartments that are currently under option (with purchase prices starting from 340,000 euros, free of transfer tax/costs). You will then be placed on the reserve list.
With ACE, Amsterdam will gain a lively urban neighborhood where you can live, play sports, relax and meet others. Not only on the tennis and padel courts, but also in the catering establishments located here. Furthermore, the Sloterplas and Sloterpark offer plenty of opportunities for relaxation and entertainment: you can swim, sail, walk, jog, cycle or visit events here.
