Living in a green environment, near the dike village of Cruquius, close to Haarlem and Amsterdam

Wickevoort estate is about 56 acres in size. That is roughly comparable to about 100 soccer fields. This unique, green residential area is located near the idyllic dike village of Cruquius, southwest of Amsterdam, within cycling distance of Heemstede, Haarlem and Hoofddorp. In Wickevoort, a lot of mature greenery is already present. This is in fact where the oldest "forest" of the Haarlemmermeer is located, a "forest belt" connecting the subareas (residential fields). Even more green: Wickevoort borders nature and recreation area De Groene Weelde and the Haarlemmermeer Golf Club. The estate will not only be home to housing. It is also the site of the Cruquiushoeve care facility. Furthermore, there are already numerous facilities, such as Hoeve Wickevoort, a children's farm, a riding school, bridle paths, walking and cycling routes, small-scale catering establishments and a local shop. In this shop organic products are sold that are grown on the estate itself.
