Living on an estate full of greenery and mature trees. It is possible at Wickevoort estate south of Amsterdam, near the dike village Cruquius in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. On Thursday, November 28, 76 highly sustainable single-family homes with sunny gardens will go on sale. The homes are constructed using timber-frame building methods and have living areas ranging from approximately 108 to 133 square meters. Price indications start at 540,000 euros (free of transfer tax). Would you like more information or a personal consultation? Then come to the Meet & Greet on Saturday, November 30. You will also be able to visit a timber-frame model home.
The 76 homes, consisting of row and corner houses, will be located in the Lanen subplan and are divided into two "residential areas": 20 Laanhuizen in the Oostelijke lanen residential area and 56 Hofhuizen in the Groene lanen residential area. You can choose from various home types. All home types have three floors, a spacious living room with an open kitchen on the ground floor, and two bedrooms and a bathroom (with a second toilet) on the first floor. Both the kitchen and the bathroom are completely finished upon delivery and included in the purchase price. The homes also feature a flat roof, which means the second floor also offers plenty of space. Furthermore, each house has a spacious storage shed in the backyard and a lovely terrace in the front yard with a pergola with climbing plants. In the Groene lanen residential area, the backyard borders a courtyard with plenty of greenery and ample parking space.
The difference between the housing types lies mainly in the architecture, the surface areas, and the number of rooms. For example, some of the homes have one room and an open space on the second floor, while the larger homes have two rooms and a landing there. Currently, the homes are still in pre-sale. Price indications start at 540,000 euros (free of transfer tax). From November 28, when sales officially start, the final purchase price for each building number will be known and visible on the project website.
Nature literally comes right up to your front door here. Nesting boxes for birds, such as blackbirds and swallows, are built into the facades. There are also pergolas for plants to grow over, adding extra color to your immediate living environment. The starting point for the development of this residential area is to preserve the existing greenery as much as possible and, where feasible, plant new greenery. So you really live surrounded by nature, among rustling mature trees, flowering bushes, and green hedges.
The homes in Oostelijke lanen and Groene lanen are very energy-efficient and sustainable. This is partly because they are built using timber-frame construction. In addition, Landgoed Wickevoort features a number of shared facilities, such as a estate manager, shared electric cars, shared tools, and central points where you can drop off or pick up your mail packages.
Are you interested and do you want to buy a home? On Thursday, November 28 (around 15:00), the sales will start and you can register for the home(s) of your preference. To be eligible for allocation, you must fill out the registration form available at that time, indicate the construction numbers of your preference, and sign and submit the form before Monday, December 9 (12:00). Would you like to know more about the homes and the estate first? Then go to the project siteOr come to the Meet & Greet on Saturday, November 30 between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Then you can talk to the sales team, personally experience how beautiful Wickevoort is, and visit a timber-frame home. The registration form for a home can be found in your personal Wickevoort account starting from the sales launch (which is Thursday, November 28). You will also find the registration form for the Meet & Greet there. Please note: at this moment—until November 28—the homes are not yet on sale, but are in pre-sale. Registering for the pre-sale gives you an advantage in the final allocation.
Wickevoort estate is 56 acres in size. That is roughly comparable to about 100 soccer fields. This unique, green residential area is located near the idyllic dike village of Cruquius, south of Amsterdam, within cycling distance of Heemstede, Haarlem and Hoofddorp. In Wickevoort, a lot of mature greenery is already present. In fact, this is where the oldest "forest" of the Haarlemmermeer is located, a "forest belt" that connects the subareas (residential fields) of Wickevoort Estate. Even more green: Wickevoort borders nature and recreation area De Groene Weelde and the Haarlemmermeer Golf Club. The estate is also the site of SEIN's Cruquiushoeve care facility. Scattered throughout the area are the lands of the Wickevoorter City Farmers. There are also numerous amenities, such as a petting zoo, a riding school, bridle paths, hiking and biking trails, small-scale restaurants and a convenience store. In this convenience store, the Stadsboeren sell the organic produce they grow on the Wickevoort Estate.
