The Seasons rental apartments (57 in total) are located in the low-rise section of residential building The Sphinx. These are two-, three-, or four-room apartments featuring a luxury Siematic kitchen, a stunning Villeroy & Boch bathroom, underfloor heating and cooling, and wallpaper-ready walls. The living areas range from approximately 59 to about 112 square meters. Rental prices start at 1,500 euros per month (excluding service charges). All apartments have their own outdoor space. The Sphinx also has a high-rise section. Located there, and on the top floors of the low-rise, are private sector rental apartments that are not intended for a specific target audience.
A special feature within the complex is a small-scale residential care center for people with dementia, managed by Het Gastenhuis. This facility, which offers 24-hour residential care, will be located on the ground floor. The first floor provides space for a community function.
Construction of The Sphinx is in full swing. The apartments will be completed as early as this first quarter (2025). Consequently, the leasing process is well underway. The Sphinx stands in the new urban district Aan het IJ, part of the Overhoeks area, in Amsterdam North. On one side is a new park, on the other a green square, which also includes two other buildings and a school. One of the great things about this new neighborhood is its proximity to major cultural and culinary hotspots: EYE Film Museum, the A'DAM Tower and the Tolhuistuin. The center of Amsterdam is also easily accessible; the ferry to Central Station departs within walking distance.
