Brooklyn Heights is the final phase of New Brooklyn and is inspired by the robust brick architecture of "real" Brooklyn in New York. You'll see wide tree-lined streets, reddish-brown bricks, bay windows, iron fences, and detailed cornices. The look is urban, robust, and charming. Very convenient: the neighborhood is largely complete: streets are laid, greenery is growing, and more and more people are moving in. You'll therefore find yourself in a neighborhood with character, close to shops, restaurants, a park, and Almeerderstrand.
The first phase, which goes on sale on Thursday, July 2nd, includes 16 apartments with three or four rooms and 25 townhouses and specials. Below is a brief overview of the offerings:
The apartments in phase 1 come in two types: a three-room apartment of approximately 68 square meters and a four-room apartment of approximately 104 or 105 square meters. They feature a spacious living room with an open kitchen, two or three bedrooms, and a private outdoor space: a terrace on the ground floor or a balcony on the upper floors. You will have a view of the inner courtyard or a park strip. Across from the inner courtyard, you will find your own storage unit. Prices range from 375,000 to 592,500 euros (including costs).
Take the specials. Phase 1 has three of them. These are building numbers 1, 2, and 27.
The townhouses are available in several variations: three or four stories, mid-terrace or end-of-terrace, with a pitched or flat roof, and with three, four, or five bedrooms. Shape and brick color also differ. This variety increases the chance that you will find a home here that suits you. You also have options to adapt the home to your wishes, such as an extension. The living areas (without extension) range from approximately 126 to 167 square meters. All homes have a garden, in some cases approximately 20 (!) meters deep. Prices range from €580,000 to €750,000 (including purchase costs).
The homes in Brooklyn Heights are well insulated and equipped with district heating, a heat recovery system, and underfloor heating. This ensures lower energy costs (with normal consumption) and a high level of comfort. Upon completion, the bathroom and toilet are already fully finished with sanitary ware and tiling. You choose your own kitchen.
Brooklyn Heights is the final piece of New Brooklyn in Almere Poort. De Meent city park is just around the corner, and Almeerderstrand beach is also nearby. Shops, schools, sports clubs, and other daily amenities are also in the vicinity. Almere Poort train station is within walking distance. From there, you can reach the heart of Amsterdam in about 20 minutes.
