De Oost consists of 119 two-, three-, and four-room apartments, spread across four buildings. The living areas range from approximately 50 to around 99 square meters. All apartments – including a number of penthouses – will be delivered with a designer kitchen from top supplier LEICHT Amsterdam, with appliances from Atag. The luxurious bathroom and toilet will also be furnished and finished upon delivery. And the best part is: you determine exactly how your kitchen and bathroom will be.
In De Oost, you'll live energy-efficiently and comfortably. All apartments meet the so-called BENG requirements ('Nearly Energy-Neutral Building'). Thanks to excellent insulation, solar panels, and heat recovery, among other things, they have an energy label of A++, possibly even A+++. This – with normal usage – results in a lower energy bill and higher value. You can also borrow more for the purchase.
No matter which apartment you choose, you'll always have a balcony or terrace. Additionally, there's a communal, botanical courtyard with a waterside terrace. A lovely place to relax, meet others, or let your (grand)children play.
Each apartment comes with at least one parking space in the De Oost parking garage. If you sign before construction begins (very soon), that parking space is included in the price. The parking garage is located beneath the courtyard, so you'll be looking at greenery, not cars. You can reach your floor from the garage via elevator.
Would you like (much) more living space? Then you can have two (or more) apartments combined! Good to know: there is no self-occupancy requirement for the apartments in De Oost. So you can buy an apartment here to rent out. This is very special; other (recent) new construction projects in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer do have this requirement. De Oost is still (just) before that regulation.
In De Oost, you will soon be living about a five-minute walk from the center of Hoofddorp. There you will find supermarkets, specialty shops, clothing stores, restaurants, and much more. Do you want to go to larger cities like Amsterdam or Haarlem? Not a problem. In eight minutes, you can cycle to Hoofddorp Station. From that location, the train will take you to either city in about twenty minutes. Are you rather in need of peace and quiet? Then cycle into the polder landscape around Hoofddorp. Or go to the nearby Haarlemmermeerse Bos. This is a beautiful nature and recreation area of 115 hectares with walking paths, swimming water, and other recreational opportunities.
