Living in Hilko Zaandam

New construction site HILKO, will be a new residential neighborhood along the Zaan in Zaandam
Together with housing foundation Rochdale, AM is developing about 100 homes where comfortable, affordable and sustainable living is central.

On the site where the former HILKO soap factory and the Evert Koning paint factory now stand, a new inclusive residential neighborhood will arise in the future. By inclusive, we mean a mix of housing types in all price ranges.

Along the Zaan, beautiful sustainable buildings, single-family houses and apartments are rising. In the area between the Oostzijde and the Cornelis van Uitgeeststraat there is room for ground-level houses with a garden and some social rental apartments from the Rochdale housing foundation.
