Quiet, spacious, and energy-efficient living on a green and historic farmyard, with the city just around the corner. Discover Erf Meerzigt in the village part of Amsterdam-Sloten. This small-scale new construction project in the district New West consists of four semi-detached houses and a detached house with a unique architecture. Three homes are still available. Purchase prices start at 1,330,000 euros (free of transfer tax). Interested? Visit the open house at the construction site at Sloterweg 992 on Friday, June 26 between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
The architecture of Erf Meerzigt nods to its past as a farmstead. The style is robust, with dark woodwork on the facades, anthracite-colored window frames, and long roofs. All of these are features you also see in old farm barns. At the same time, there is an eye for the future. The homes are spacious, bright, comfortable, and nearly energy-neutral. This gives you a lot of comfort, a lower energy bill, and often also more mortgage capacity.
The delivery includes high-end sanitary facilities and tiling. You choose the kitchen yourself, for which plenty of space is available.
Your choice too: the layout of your home. For example, you can choose more or fewer bedrooms. Or an extra bathroom. That freedom of choice applies until construction begins. Good news: that construction start is already this coming autumn! Three homes are still available. You can read more about them below:
The two semi-detached houses still available share several characteristics of a traditional agricultural barn. Hence, they are called 'Barn Homes'. The living areas are approximately 178 square meters. On the ground floor, you have a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen. On the first floor are three bedrooms and the bathroom. The attic has a flexible layout. You can easily create an extra room there, for example for your work, study, or hobby. A second bathroom is also possible. In addition to a large backyard, you have a private veranda and a parking space on your own property.
The prices are 1,330,000 euros (free of transfer tax) and 1,450,000 euros (free of transfer tax). Good to know: the ground lease is included in the purchase price until December 31, 2032. Only after that will you pay an annual ground rent.
The detached home still available (the Stalwoning) is approximately 186 square meters. It features a U-shaped living room with a lovely kitchen-diner and four bedrooms: three on the first floor and one in the attic. There is also an additional room in the attic, which you can use however you like. This home also features a spacious garden (with a pergola), a porch, and a parking space on the property. From the garden, you have a view of the water. The price: 1,550,000 euros (price exclusive of transfer taxes).
For the Stable Residence as well, the ground lease is included in the purchase price until December 31, 2032. Only after that will you start paying an annual canon.
You live on Erf Meerzigt in the village-like part of Amsterdam-Sloten. You notice this not only in the architecture, but also in the greenery in the immediate residential area. Further away, on the other side of the A4 highway, the surroundings are also green. Located there are Park Oeverlanden, the Nieuwe Meer recreational lake, and the Amsterdamse Bos. At the same time, the city is very close by. Naturally, there are the amenities in Sloten itself, such as the Nieuw Sloten shopping center (within walking distance), schools, and restaurants, or the many (large) sports clubs (soccer, athletics, field hockey, baseball, gymnastics, rugby, and track cycling). But you can also reach other parts of the city in no time, with all the shops, restaurants, and culture they have to offer, because the bus stops literally around the corner.
