Live in peace with a view of the heath, in a sustainable home that provides energy. And with exclusive shops, fine restaurants, and numerous other amenities within walking and cycling distance. It's possible in the new development project Crailo Kwartier in BussumCrailo Kwartier will feature 65 nature-inclusive terraced houses, semi-detached houses, and detached villas on the Bussummerheide. Phase 1 is expected to go on sale this coming autumn. Sign up via the project siteand you'll stay informed. Or come to the open house on Saturday, May 24th.
Crailo Kwartier is emerging around the grounds of the former Crailo military barracks. It will be a hamlet where you can slow down your life as you wish. The residential area literally borders the Bussummerheide: your own terrace seamlessly transitions into the communal forest landscape. From your home and from your terrace, you look out onto the natural surroundings. This provides peace and relaxation. At the same time, you will be living practically next to old barracks buildings with great cultural-historical value. This adds extra atmosphere to the new residential neighborhood, especially since they will soon offer space for creative businesses, enjoyable eateries, and rental properties.
Crailo Kwartier offers the best of both worlds. On one hand, you have the peace and quiet of beautiful nature reserves, and on the other, numerous amenities that make life more enjoyable and easier. First, the nature. The Bussummerheide is your backyard, but there is more nature in the area. Such as the Goois Natuurreservaat, the Naardermeer, and the Blaricummerheide. Forests, fens, sand drifts, and heathlands – it's all there. Wonderful for endless walks, runs, or bike rides, but also for simply being outdoors and enjoying the sun.
Check out the amenities. Crailo Kwartier is within cycling distance of Laren and Bussum. Laren is known for its exclusive fashion boutiques, unique galleries, and charming restaurants. It's also home to the Singer Laren art museum. Bussum is larger and offers a wider variety of shops, ranging from cute boutiques and artisan specialty stores to clothing stores from national chains and supermarkets. One of these supermarkets, an Albert Heijn, is less than a 4-minute drive from your home. Additionally, Bussum has cozy restaurants and pubs, a cinema, the well-known Spant theater, and numerous sports clubs. This is why Bussum is also a great place for young people to live. What helps with that is that there are many schools there.
And then, of course, there's the location. You'll live in Crailo Kwartier, right in the heart of the Gooi region. Via the A1 highway, you can reach Amsterdam in 20 minutes. A bus stops close to the neighborhood. And the Naarden-Bussum train station is a 15-minute bike ride away. So, you'll be close to everything here. Ideal if you work in Amsterdam or Utrecht, for example, and want to come home to a quiet and green environment at the end of the day, with so much nature just around the corner.
