Rabobank helps first-time homebuyers during 'Your First Home' event

Rabobank can't make the housing market easier, but it can inform first-time buyers as well as possible to increase their chances! This was done, for example, at the 'Your First Home' event, which the bank organized at B. Amsterdam in early September. Hundreds of visitors attended the event. A brief recap.

'Your First Home' Event: Optimal Preparation for Buying Your First House

Buying a first home is an exciting step that involves a lot. First-time buyers often have many questions. Such as: what costs can you expect? Is a cohabitation agreement really necessary? And how do you make a good offer? At the 'Your First Home' event, they received answers to these and numerous other questions. It is one of the ways Rabobank optimally prepares first-time buyers for the purchase of their first home.

Speed dating, step-by-step plan, and the notary's role in buying a house

The program was very varied. For example, visitors could speed-date with financial advisors from Rabobank, giving them insight into how much they could borrow within ten minutes. Additionally, the 'First House Purchase Step-by-Step Plan' was presented, guiding visitors through the entire process of buying a house. KB Notaries also gave a presentation on the notary's role in that process. So, there was a lot of information, but this now helps visitors know what to look out for when buying a (first) house and what to expect.

Interior Styling Masterclass

Besides all that information, there was also room for inspiration during a masterclass on interior styling. Because once you've secured that house, you naturally want to make it feel like your home quickly.

Also, information market at the 'Your First Home' event

Amidst all the presentations and speed dates, there was also an information market. There, visitors could talk with real estate agents and get information about new construction projects, sustainability, and co-housing.

Also in 2025, the 'Your First Home' event
