Finding an owner-occupied home in this challenging housing market can be quite a task. In the new-build neighborhood Creek Kingdom at Assendelft however, there is a good chance that you will succeed. After all, here you can build (or have built) your own dream home, so that your house meets all your requirements. There are still a few self-build plots available in Kreekrijk. On Friday, September 27, there is an open house at the construction site between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. You can then talk to the real estate agents about the plots and self-building.
The custom-build plots are located on the north side of Kreekrijk. In total, there are 39 plots. The final phase, which is now on sale, consists of eighteen plots. With sizes ranging from 378 to 853 square meters, there is great variety. Purchase prices start at 309,000 euros (free of transfer tax). All plots are waterfront. During the open house (this coming Friday, September 27 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM), you can speak with the real estate agents about the still available plots. They will also explain step-by-step how self-building works, should you have any questions about it. The plots will be marked during the open house. This allows you to see precisely where and how they are situated and how large they are. This way, you can immediately choose the best spot to live.
Building your dream home yourself in Kreekrijk can be done in two ways. You can pioneer with an architect and design your home together from a 'blank slate.' Or you can choose one of the preliminary designs that have been created for you as part of the project, and which you can customize to your own liking. Whichever method you choose, it will result in a fantastic, detached home in a beautiful neighborhood with the beloved, colorful Zaan architecture.
