New construction project Spaarndammerhart (Amsterdam West) wins Amsterdam New Construction Award 2022
New construction project Spaarndammerhart in Amsterdam West has won the Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs 2022, the public prize for new construction in the city. Alderman Reinier van Dantzig and Maxime Verhagen of Bouwend Nederland presented the prize to the residents and parties involved.
Like nine other projects, Spaarndammerhart was nominated for the finals by a public jury. City broadcaster AT5 made video impressions of the ten final projects. You can watch them below. All 52 competing projects were completed in Amsterdam between August 2020 and August 2021.
The Amsterdam Nieuwbouwprijs is organized each year by AT5, the municipality of Amsterdam, Bouwend Nederland and Amsterdam Woont. The election took place for the fifteenth time.
