Shining role for special nature in the new Lelystad residential campaign
September 9th 2020
'A quirky place to live'. That is the slogan of Lelystad's latest campaign. With the campaign, the polder city wants to show at a glance why it is so good to live there. A glorious leading role in the campaign is reserved for the characteristic nature around Lelystad. “Lelystad offers space to live and live, but also for your ideas and dreams,” says Barry Porsius, director-manager of City Marketing Lelystad.
Campaign aimed at the northern part of Randstad, especially Amsterdam and the region
Lelystad shines these days on billboards along various highways, on bus shelters in the city itself and in Almere, Amsterdam, Weesp, Nieuwegein, Amstelveen and Amersfoort, on Facebook and Instagram, and in the supplement of the newspaper Het Parool . The campaign clearly focuses on the northern part of the Randstad, and especially Amsterdam and the region. “Our campaign is all about enjoyment of living and nature”, says Porsius. “We want to show that to people with young children and people over 50 from the Randstad.”
Lelystad: living for an affordable price
“Lelystad has many advantages and has a lot to offer”, continues Porsius. “You can buy a house here for an affordable price. We think it is high time to show what Lelystad has to offer with beautiful, catchy and appealing images!” The campaign is indeed bursting with beautiful photos. One photo reads 'For persistent people who dare to deviate from the beaten track', the other says 'Freebuiters who are able to look further'. Other texts that support the images are: 'Pioneers who do not keep up with the crowd' and 'Outsiders who are a bit stubborn'. The campaign will run throughout September.
