Lots of space for housing needs in Parkwijk Lelystad: 'We choose the façade ourselves'March 15th 2019
A brand new and gasless residential area in the heart of Lelystad, with strolling streets and a park-like ambiance. That is Parkwijk . Due to the success of the first phase, the sale of the second series of terraced and corner houses will start this spring. What is special about the houses is that there is a lot of room for the living wishes of the buyers. Willem (60) and Joke (56) Hacquebard are among the lucky buyers of phase 1.
PPO homes in Parkwijk Lelystad: lots of space for your housing needs
Willem and Joke have been living in Lelystad-Haven with great pleasure for 21 years. Yet they are moving to Parkwijk, to a so-called PPO home. PPO stands for Project-based Private Commissioning. As a buyer, you will have many opportunities to realize your housing requirements in such homes. “For example, in our new home we will choose the façade ourselves,” says Joke. “We go for the colors off white and dark gray. We also determine the width of the house, the roof and the number of floors.”
Less climbing stairs
The latter is one of the reasons for the couple to move. “We now live with our daughter in a drive-in house. Our house has four floors, with a garage on the ground floor and the living area from the first floor. Because I have rheumatism, it is difficult for me to climb the stairs every day We are now opting for a house with fewer floors, so that we have fewer stairs to climb. ” Because future residents such as Willem and Joke put together their own row or corner house, Parkwijk will become a varied neighborhood. A neighborhood to which everyone has contributed.
A neighborhood where everyone feels at home
Willem and Joke saw the Parkwijk project on Facebook. They immediately signed up for the newsletter and an information evening. The first meeting for buyers is coming soon. “We will then meet our neighbors for the first time. Then we will also see drawings of what they are going to do with their home. Because there is a lot of room for buyers' living wishes, Parkwijk will become a neighborhood where everyone feels at home.” The construction of the houses of phase 1 will start in May this year. “For us it can't go fast enough,” the couple says enthusiastically.
Phase 2 on sale later this spring
The second phase of terraced houses will also be built under Project-based Private Commissioning, or PPO. Do you also want the joys, but not the burden of building a house? Then phase 2 is for you. These PPO homes will go on sale later this spring. View the website for more information.
