It concerns phase 2, with town houses, semi-detached houses and detached villas. Prices start at 625,000 euros (von).
Rich in water: spacious houses with bay windows and (partly) thatched roofs
The architecture in Waterrijk is inspired by the atmospheric architecture that you often see in villages on the Vecht and in 't Gooi. Characteristic are (among others) the bay windows, the long roofs, the low gutters and the use of natural materials. Sometimes the look is more modern, other times it is romantic, for example when the roof is made of thatch. In combination with the water-rich environment, with harbors, bridges and jetties, this style is also called 'Hollands Water'. Speaking of a water-rich environment: the waterways in the district are connected to the Vecht, the IJmeer and the Loosdrechtse Plassen. In the houses with a garden on the water, you have the option to place a sloop in your backyard, which you can use to sail towards the Vecht.
