Elzenhagen Zuid: a new neighborhood in Amsterdam Noord, intended for everyone

It will be a new neighborhood for everyone: Elzenhagen South in Amsterdam North. There, within the ring road and close to the vast nature and polder area of Twiske-Waterland, there is room for around 1,800 new-build homes. Buy and rent, near the ground and at height, layered and ground floor. In short, something for everyone. You can follow developments closely via the new area website. The first homes will probably go on sale at the end of this year.

Elzenhagen Zuid: green district on the water, near metro station Noord

Elzenhagen Zuid is rising right next to the Noord metro station. The rest of the city, such as the center, is therefore easily and quickly accessible. The new district is partly surrounded by a new park and is located between the Noordhollandsch Kanaal and the North-South Line. In addition to houses, Elzenhagen will also have all kinds of facilities, such as schools, a sports hall, an athletics track and a cultural center. Elzenhagen South consists of 3 sub-areas, each with its own character: the Singelstrook, the Zuidbuurt and the Noordbuurt.

Singel lane: if you like 'a room with a view'

Do you like 'a room with a view'? Then set your sights on an apartment in the complex with the two towers in the Singelstrook. You will soon have a beautiful view over a large part of Amsterdam North. And with the North-South line around the corner, you are in the city center within 10 minutes. The Singelstrook will have approximately 325 rental apartments. On the ground floor there is room for companies, catering and social facilities. Construction of the first houses on the Singelstrook is expected to start this year. You can live here at the earliest in 2023.

Apartments and family houses in park-like Zuidbuurt

If you like living in park-like greenery, the Zuidbuurt is for you. Here will be 16 Urban Villas, beautiful residential complexes scattered through the landscape, with apartments and family houses, both for sale and rent and with a lot of variety. The Zuidbuurt is surrounded by water and greenery and will have approximately 375 homes. The small-scale design and park-like environment give you a spacious and free feeling. You will also soon find a neighborhood and a secondary school, a sports hall and an athletics track. Circular paths will be created between the buildings. The neighborhood will be car-free; a nice place for children to play outside. The sale of the first homes is expected to start at the end of this year. The construction of the first homes will follow in 2022.

Noordbuurt: owner-occupied homes, rental homes and creative incubators

The Noordbuurt, the third sub-area of Elzenhagen Zuid, will have about 850 homes, divided over 6 buildings. It is a mix of rent and purchase, low-rise and high-rise, compact and spacious. In time, the municipality will also provide self-build plots here. There is also room for creative breeding grounds. The neighborhood is located between the Stationsgebied and the Noordhollandsch Kanaal. With the metro you are in the center and along the canal and in the parks you can enjoy yourself sporty. The sale of the first homes is expected to start at the end of this year, construction in 2022.
