De Jonge Graaff (Amsterdam East): creating homes together to age well. One more house (penthouse) availableOctober 5th 2019
Making homes together to age a bit nice. That is the motto of construction group De Jonge Graaff. This construction group for people aged 55 and over realizes a sustainable shell-filled residential building with five loft apartments on Ringdijk 44 in Watergraafsmeer in Amsterdam East. An enthusiastic candidate has now been found for four properties. Only for the penthouse on the third floor does the construction group look for a buyer.
De Jonge Graaff: apartments for people over 55 on the Ringvaart canal in Amsterdam East
The building of De Jonge Graaff will be located where a school once stood. Except for De Jonge Graaff, there is room for another building group and for individual self-builders. The location is fantastic: on the Ringdijk, with a view over the Ringvaart and near numerous facilities such as the Amstel station, tram and bus stops, supermarkets and the many shops of the Oostpoort shopping street and Linnaeusstraat. Well-known restaurants such as De Vergulde Eenhoorn and La Vallade are close by. Park Frankendael is a few minutes' walk away.
Hull lofts for people over 55 in Watergraafsmeer: organize and dismantle yourself
Five hull lofts of various sizes will be installed in the building. All with maximum sunlight in the home. At the front the houses get nice bay windows, so you can enjoy the view. The building will be very sustainable and energy-neutral (EPC: 0), with solar panels on the roof, individual air-heat pumps, sustainable and circular materials and lots of greenery. The design of the building is basically ready. Included in the hull are the water pipe, the sewer system and underfloor heating / cooling. As a buyer, you determine the layout and finishing of your own home entirely by yourself. You can use the expertise of project architect Bets & Oudendorp Architects. The penthouse still available will be 117 square meters in size, with a ceiling height of 3.2 meters.
Communal storage, private parking
The building will have a communal storage room with washing machine and bicycle storage that can be accessed from the rear. You have your own parking space in the inner area, which can be reached via an underpass in the middle of the building. Construction will start at the end of 2019. The hull building is expected to be delivered at the end of 2020.
